but doesn't everyone? even a little bit?
you want to make your story sound even more fantastic! or make yourself
look even better in light of a bummer subject. it's true. don't fool
yourself into believing you don't.
it makes sense that some
wicked amazing embellishments are on the runways too. makes you look
even more fantastic! makes you look even brighter when you're bummed.
i'm ready for some retail therapy.
they give me a cute attack. and bring back memories of movie watching under blankets with my mom before tv cost $$$ and the excellent classics were broadcast *all*the*time..... i was in love with their style. i still want a suit of clothes.
and of course, i could never forget Bud Abbott and Lou Costello - they are a duo after all. my dad made my brother and i practice the "who's on first?" routine for a solid week. the tape we practiced with was made by strategically placing a philips cassette recorder next to the speaker of our floor model tv. dad wanted us to perfom the routine for the talent show that celebrated the end of catholic schools week! i thought it was fun because naturally i wanted to be a comedic performer (i'm great with deadpan and improv - just sayin'). bill(y) called it quits in tearful frustration, finally telling my dad he wanted to sing "zip-a-dee-doo-dah" instead. and he did.
Those textile designers that created the s2012 rtw prints at Preen are pretty smart. the open ground black and white florals paired with those colorful tetris checks.....!!! the silhouettes!!! peter pan collars and ruffles too! this is a perfect lesson in dressing proper.
faux tube top sweater and skirt = yowza!
i could see this on a lovely dame in a suspenseful thriller
was it obvious for you? really! it took me a second or two...or a minute..or two. the entire collection is so engaging and smart and playful. i love those nude socks and sexy/modest shoes! and the bags are beauties too!
imagine, if above those riveted holes, the leather was scalloped!
i can't say it enough: i love main attrakionz. this song has an incredible message that i think is perfect when anticipating the full moon. i've planted my seeds.
i try to change the way i think from three years ago
lookin' in my eyes like "is this really what i asked for?"
and, duh, i totally *need* that zombies on ma turf sweatshirt!!!
really. a person said that. the following is my brief argument explanation as to why she is clearly in the wrong (especially for spring 2012!!!).
check it:
#1 i love wovens. i love sneaky wovens that are false solids. i love sneaky wovens that are false stripes.
i have never seen footloose. either of them. c'mon screenwriters. are folks my age having a midlife crisis already? i've had a nervous breakdown, but not a midlife crisis. kevin bacon was hot in 1984 (but especially in friday the 13th (cut-offs, y'all!)) and is still his handsome self. so how do you pay tribute to a classic movie without remaking it *and* attract a wider audience? KRUMPLOOSE!
plot summary:
ren (kevin bacon) is an attractive and eligible divorcee living in atlanta with his teenage daughter, rena (elle fanning). he is the instructor of dance at a public school there. secretly, in the cover of darkness, the students (including "young renny" as she is known to her classmates) work out their disagreements, vie for the opposite sex's attention and show off their mad skillz via krump battles. the soundtrack will be a mash up of the title song by young bloodz and lil jon. ren discovers what young renny is up to with her homies. and he supports her! he adds krumping to his course options at school. rena goes on to pursue her dance dreams in the bay area.....and you know what's next, boo....HYPHYLOOSE! ya feel me?!
more to the point: let me style those dancers! Louise Gray's Spring 2012 rtw is off the chain. the separates would look amazing makin' that air clap, freezin', floatin', poppin' and lockin'...
if you don't know by now, you betta axe somebody.
NOTE: i'm aware that there are no women featured in those videos, however, i pray that you, the reader, can imagine that those boys would like to dance with some girls. and those girls will be wearing Louise Gray.
