not much to say about Homecore's fw 2012 prints, patterns or textures but it is classic streetwear. naturally. winter colors like grey, navy and camel compose the majority of the collection with pops of red and "not quite Carhartt" brown. the quilted jackets remind me of housecoats that my parents wore at home; you can't get more homecore than that!
i advise e'ry hardcore homeboy out there to keep it street! Homecore advises manifest love. i'm working on success first!
...
anyway! check Carhartt Heritage FW2012 collection! classic Carhartt colors with some burgandy, tartan green, and navy thrown in to freshen it up. button-down shirts in plaids and prints (yes, southwest Pendleton-like prints still abound and ain't nothin' wrong w that). classic streetwear for my theoretical boo. and a Ted Leo/Rx's jam for you because i like singing in rounds and will celebrate that all the rude boys are gone! woot holler holler.
classic Carhartt brown peacoat style! "why yes, i would love to get lost in the wilderness with you!"
and my dreamboat ted leo. the last time i saw you, you looked very handsome indeed in your gingham shirt and white jeans. i sang along with every word, even though you didn't play 'timorous me'. next time i hope!
thank you Jonathan Saunders for giving me an excuse to assault you with my favorite menswear fashion icon, David Bowie. inspired by his Berlin trilogy, mayhaps? lots of subtle geometrics for you to feast your eyes upon.
and a fitting Bowie jam for you to dance to (from Lodger):

my introduction to salvation mountain came while reading Faythe Levine's blog i was born in 1977. check her post to see some really beautiful photographs of the site in it's almost entirety. located in Niland, California, Leonard Knight's handpainted landscape (literally) is a tribute to all of creation. in the metaphysical boat, i know that what i believe is what i manifest. sometimes it's a struggle to stay on the positive tip but when i saw Nicole L. Hill's photoshoot featured on Trendland yesterday, i felt so inspired. i hope you do too.
their lookbook video was shot by brandon tauszik who also shot this mondreMAN video (and lots otherz). i include this because mondre is sporting a fresh jacket, the lining of which is identical to the shirt he wears! sick!
the only thing worthwhile from holly fulton (i cropped this pic but if you really want to subject yourself to sheer black pantyhose and a "carwash-style" skirt, suit yourself...)
